发明名称 DRIVING TOOL FOR ZERO INSERTION FORCE SOCKET
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a socket with zero insertion force or low insertion force wherein no space is necessary on an actuator which drives the connection. SOLUTION: A fitting mechanism of socket 10 with the zero insertion force or low insertion force is driven by rotating a screw driver of flat blade or another similar tool. The driving unit is equipped with an S-shaped receptacle 13. When the blade of screw driver is arranged with the receptacle 13 and the screw driver is rotated, the upper part is moved against the lower part of a device, and a pin is made to meet with the socket 16. As for the shape of receptacle 13, the force developed by the twist action of screw driver enables arrangement at the lateral face of receptacle 13 by the side face of the blade rather than the end of the blade which can give a damage to the molded plastic parts. As a result, the driving of the device evades the waste of space, which has occurred in the traditional lever driving mode device. Furthermore, the driving of the device enables driving the fitting mechanism by the use of tool which can be generally available.
