IMAGE FORMING METHOD AND TONER FOR DEVELOPING ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method by which electrostatic scattering caused at a fixing part in fixation by a belt is restrained and a hot offset image is prevented from being formed. SOLUTION: A method for thermally fixing a toner image on a body to be recorded by a fixing means which is constituted of one or more heat transfer media heated by a heating element and a pressure member making the body to be recorded press-contact with one of the heat transfer media, and at least one of the heat transfer media of which is a belt type heat transfer medium is used in this image forming method. In the method, (a) toner whose absolute value of triboelectrification amount between the toner and a fixing belt is 0 to 20μC/g is used, or (b) toner whose absolute value of a difference between the triboelectrification amount between the toner and the fixing belt and the triboelectrification amount between the toner and a charge applying member is 0 to 10μC/g is used.
