PURPOSE: An information terminal and the on-line ordering method using the terminal are provided to enable the terminal to receive an order for various kind of products and other additional data from the remote place through PSTN. CONSTITUTION: The information terminal(100) performs data transceived with the server who provides various kinds of information through PSTN and an on-line ordering. A key input part(110) generates an access-to-server request signal and a data transceiving request signal based on the operation of the user. A memory part(130) stores a system program for operating the information terminal and the on-line ordering. CPU(120) controls the overall operation of the data terminal and generates a service access control signal on the basis of the access request signal. Modem(170) makes an access to the server through PSTM on the basis of the service access control signal and performs the data transceiving with the server. A display part(160) displays the data input received from the server and also from the key input part on the basis of the control signal from CPU.
