<p>A drive device, comprising a waste heat recovery device (2) forming a Rankine cycle with an evaporator (3) generating high-pressure steam by heating water by waste heat of an internal combustion engine (1) connected to a transmission (13), a displacement type expansion engine (4) converting the power of the high-pressure steam generated by the evaporator into an output of a specified torque, a condenser (5) liquefying low-pressure steam exhausted by the expansion engine, and a water feed pump (6) feeding water liquefied by the condenser to the evaporator, wherein the expansion engine is connected to a power generator and motor (124) through a planetary gear mechanism (122) and the expansion engine is connected to an output shaft (142) of the internal combustion engine through the planetary gear mechanism and a belt type continuously variable transmission (123), the transmission gear ratio of the belt type continuously variable transmission is controlled so that the speed of the internal combustion engine and the speed of the expansion engine are transmitted synchronously to the transmission, whereby a driven part can be driven effectively by an output from the expansion engine of a waste heat recovery device.</p> |
