Charging in telecommunication system offering broadcast services

A method of charging for broadcast services in a telecommunication system comprising at least one terminal, a broadcast network offering broadcast services, and a return network offering a reverse connection. The terminal selects the information to be transferred as a broadcast by means of the reverse connection. The terminal is charged for the information transferred provided the information does not originate from any predetermined service area. The service areas are defined on the basis of service addresses, such as URL identifiers.
