The exhaust manifold has at least one deflecting wall(32,34) dividing the collector pipe(18) and extends at least from the individual pipe(16) lying next to the outlet opening to the outlet opening itself, and which equally distributes the exhaust gas streams from the cylinders to the outlet opening. The deflecting wall protrudes beyond at least the inlet opening(26) lying next to the outlet opening, and extends as far as the last but one inlet opening(24) of the individual pipes.
