PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding the insert of a receptacle connector which can keep the distances between terminal groups even when the connector has three or more terminal group rows and is easy of production. SOLUTION: In FIG3(a), terminal groups 2 located at both ends are fitted to a pair of mold main bodies 4, and terminal groups 2 arranged in the middle are held by a rear core 6. In FIG3(b), a front core 5a arranged on the right side of a warp part 2b is advanced downward while the warp part 2b is warped. In FIG3(c), the warp part 2b is housed in the second housing part 10a. In FIG3(d), the front core 5b arranged on the left side is advanced toward the warp part 2b, and the warp part 2b is housed in the second housing part 10b as shown in FIG3(e). In FIG3(e), the mold main bodies 4 are made to approach each other from both sides, and a cavity 7 is formed by the mold main bodies 4, the front core 5, and the rear core 6. When the front core is separated, the front cores 5a, 5b are separated similarly from each side. |
