PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of lightweight foam ceramics, being smooth and dense, is provided which expresses bright colors, controls being polished and matted and reduces manufacturing costs by using talc and kaolin, and waste glasses and waste gypsum instead of clay and waste sludge in a conventional method. The resultant foam ceramics are applied to nonflammable and insulating interior materials of construction. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of: mixing 20-50wt.% of waste glasses based on no alkali, especially, not having impurities such as Fe2O3, Cr, Cl, etc.; adding 10-2wt.% of talc, 15-35wt.% of waste gypsum, 10-35wt.% of feldspar and fluorite; adding 0.5-4% of coloring agent and 0-1.5wt.% of foaming agent; extruding after adding 30-50% of water, then drying; heating at a rate of 5-10deg.C/min. to 1050-1130deg.C and holding for 30-120min.; furnace-cooling at the same rate.
