SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic sensitive material with a transparent magnetic recording layer less liable to make magnetic input and output errors and excellent in transparency. SOLUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material has at least one transparent magnetic recording layer containing magnetic particles and at least one lubricative surface layer on one side of the substrate and at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer on the other side. The coefficient of static frictionμS and the coefficient of kinematic frictionμk between the face of the sensitive material on the magnetic layer side and the face on the emulsion layer side under measurement conditions of high humidity and low speed (23 deg.C, 65% RH and 2 cm/min) satisfy the relational expressions 0.25<=μS<=0.50 and 0.25<=×k<=0.50.
