PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave oven having a good energy efficiency and a good durability while preventing the leakage of electromagnetic wave to the outside of a microwave oven through a lead wire of a heater. SOLUTION: In a microwave oven where a heater 7 for generating heat energization is arranged in a heating oven, the heater 7 is penetrated into the wall of the heating oven and forms a tube part by burning processing in the wall part into which the heater 7 is penetrated. Furthermore, into the power- conducting path of the heater is arranged relays RA 3, RB 4 selectively connecting the heater circuit to the power supply or the wall of the warehouse. The relays RA 3, RB 4 controls the heater circuit to be connected to the power supply 10 when heating using the heater 7 as well as controls the heater circuit to be connected to the wall of the warehouse other than when heated using the heater 7.
