PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological information sensor enhancing measuring accuracy by easily determining and stably maintaining the positional relationship between an exciter and a vibration detector without directly transmitting vibration from the exciter to the vibration detector when the exciter and the vibration detector are attached to a living body. SOLUTION: This sensor includes the exciter 1 for imparting vibration to a part of a living body, the vibration detector 2 for detecting the vibration propagating through the living body, and a connection 5 installed between an exciter signal transmitting cable 3 connected to the exciter and a detection signal transmitting cable 4 connected to the vibration detector. The connection 5 is used to determine the positional relationship between the exciter and the vibration detector to thereby prevent the vibration from the exciter from being directly transmitted to the vibration detector and enable only the vibration propagating through the living body to be detected by the vibration detector. Thus, the positional relationship between the exciter and the vibration detector can be easily determined and stably maintained.
