PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical feeder of a low working cost and equipment cost capable of feeding water treating chemicals for preventing the obstacle of a water system for water treatment at a proper amount under simple control. SOLUTION: This device has a temperature sensor 15 for detecting the state of the water for treatment in the water system for water treatment and two chemical feed pumps 11 and 12 for feeding the water treating chemicals into the water system for water treatment. In a chemical feed controller (CPU) 21, the one chemical feed pump is operated cooperatively with the interlock of the water treatment equipment to feed the minimum required amount of the water treating chemicals and the other chemical feed pump is selectively operated for the time determined according to the output of the sensor described above to feed the deficient component of the water treating chemicals necessary for the water treatment.
