<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining the measured density value of a test exposure dot accurately in order to correct uneven brightness of an optical print head accurately. SOLUTION: The method for determining the representative density value of a test exposure dot line for each light emitting element formed on a photosensitive material by moving an optical print heed, arranged with a plurality of light emitting elements in the main scanning direction, and the photosensitive material relatively in the sub-scanning direction orthogonal to the main scanning direction comprises a step for measuring the density value at a plurality of measuring points on the test exposure dot line as a basic density value, a step for determining a region where the basic density value is densest, and a step for determining the mean value of the basic density value in the dense region as a representative density value.</p> |
