SUBSTANCE: experimental test complex has route several single-track sections, rolling stock with leading cars moving over track, power supply and control systems, car shed and demonstrating and boarding platform. Track is made in form of shed-type trestle provided with pillars mounted on foundation; pillars are provided with travelling beams; track has rectilinear section which includes length at gradient, profiled track sections at minimum permissible radii of turn and transient sections at increased radius. Leading cars of rolling stock are interconnected; one of them is provided with passenger cabin and other car is just laboratory. Method of study and optimization of monorail transport systems is based on setting various modes of rolling stock moving over track, obtaining information on state of complex, processing this information and preparing the data on basis of this information for designing and modification.
