PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for mounting electronic components, which needs no sending/reception of data for specifying components which are not mounted, without reducing availability in the following step, even if the mounting operation is stopped due to out of stock of component and maintenance, or even if supplementing function is used. SOLUTION: This device for mounting electronic components is provided with a board carry-in part 5 to ship in a board 3 from a preceding step by means of a transfer rail, an XY table 40 to transfer the board 3 from the board carry-in part 5 to the position of mounting electronic components by means of the transfer rail, and a board ship-out part to carry out the board 3 transferred by the XY table 40 to the following step of electronic component mounting line by means of the transfer rail. The XY table 40 is provided with an upper transfer rail 41 and a lower transfer rail 43, which are provided in multiple-step manner. The upper and lower transfer rails 41 and 43 can be freely elevated vertically, so that they are the same in height as the transfer rail in the board carry-in part 5 and board carry-out part 9. |
