DRIVE CONTROL METHOD FOR PHOTOSENSOR SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive control method for photosensor system that can realize an image reader with high reliability by decreasing the voltage amplitude of a reset pulse applied to a photosensor to simplify the device configuration, thereby suppressing the deterioration of element characteristics. SOLUTION: An excellent reset operation is realized by decreasing the voltage amplitude of a top gate pulse (reset pulse)ϕTi by applying a bottom gate pulse (voltage pulse)ϕB1 with a prescribed positive voltage to a bottom gate terminal BG of a double gate photosensor 10 synchronously with timing when the top gate pulse (reset pulse)ϕTi with a prescribed voltage amplitude to a top gate terminal TG of the double gate photosensor 10 at the reset operation.
