摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AGC circuit that can surely conduct AGC even in the transmission of an analog television signal and a digital television signal. SOLUTION: A band selection means 2 consisting of a 1st band-pass means 3 that blocks the passing of an audio intermediate frequency signal in a intermediate frequency band and passes a video intermediate frequency signal and of a 2nd band-pass means 4 that passes all signals in at least the intermediate frequency band is provided between a signal level control means 1 and a detection means 8. When a television signal at the intermediate frequency band on the basis of the analog television signal is given to the signal level control means 1, the television signal at the intermediate frequency band is given to the detection means 8 via the 1st band pass means 3, and when a television signal at the intermediate frequency band on the basis of a digital television signal is given to the signal level control means 1, the television signal at the intermediate frequency band is given to the detection means 8 via the 2nd band-pass means 4.
