PURPOSE: A method for processing a destination signal in a simple exchange system is provided to make a user suitably select a response for a destination signal by separately processing destination types according to each number, in an extension telephone provided with a plurality of DDI numbers. CONSTITUTION: If a DDI destination signal is inputted(S100), a simple exchange finds out a corresponding extension in a routing table(S110) and confirms the status of the extension through an extension database(S120). The simple exchange marks the destination signal, programmed according to a confirmed status, on the extension(S130) and provides the programmed destination signal to a relevant flex button(S140). Accordingly, a user responds to the destination signal of an important DDI number(S150) and carries out the telephone call preferentially(S160).
