PURPOSE: A diffusion apparatus is provided to prevent a gas leakage accident, by generating an alarm signal when a low temperature is detected and a supply voltage is applied by a short-circuit of a fuse. CONSTITUTION: A heating unit burns hydrogen gas and radiates the hydrogen gas to the exterior. A heater control unit controls the heating unit. The heating unit has the first alarm signal generating unit and the second alarm signal generating unit. The first alarm-generating unit detects the temperature of the heating unit when a supply voltage is applied, and the first alarm-generating unit generates an alarm when the detected temperature is low. The second alarm-generating unit generates the alarm signal when the supply voltage is not applied.
