PURPOSE: A plasma display panel using high frequency is provided to improve efficiency of light emission as high frequency discharge space is wide fully by executing holding discharge into opposite discharge, to increase life of device by removing worse effect caused by substrate having medium layer, and to improve brightness as a result of increasing reflectance of visible ray by forming reflection layer. CONSTITUTION: An address electrode(302) is formed to cross with scanning electrode on upper plate. A high frequency is formed to be parallel with scanning electrode. Specially a medium layer is installed at substrate of lower plate and prevent that ion is diffused in manufacturing process. An upper plate is composed of address electrode(302) on the first substrate(301), the first dielectric layer(303) on address electrode(302), scanning electrode(306) that is formed on the first dielectric layer(303) and to cross with address electrode(302), the second dielectric layer(304) that is formed on scanning electrode, and protection layer(305) which is formed on the second dielectric layer. A lower plate is composed of medium layer(310) on the second substrate(312), high frequency electrode(311) that is formed on medium layer and is parallel with scanning electrode(306), reflection layer(309) that is formed on high frequency layer, barrier rib(307) formed on reflection layer, and phosphor layer(308) formed on the top of barrier rib and reflection layer. |
