PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope instrument enabling an operator to implement the autoclave sterilization without damaging the flexible part of the endoscope and to make the outside and inside of the endoscope communicate with each other by a simple operation after the sterilization to return the internal pressure of the endoscope to the atmospheric pressure and check the water-tightness easily, and to prevent adhesion of a check valve when soaked in a medicinal liquid. SOLUTION: A first selected position, a second selected position and a closed position are selectively switched by a passage selecting means 19 according to the rotation operation of a selecting member 12. At the first selected position, a second through hole 14 with a check valve 15 and a through hole 16 for the selection by the selecting member 12 are made to communicate with each other. At the second selected position, a first through hole 13 without the check valve 15 and the through hole 16 for the selection are made to communicate with each other. At the closed position, the first and the second through holes 13 and 14 are closed at the same time.
