PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost connecting metal fitting (compressive clamp for distribution line) for distribution line, which does not mar the fine view (spectacle) of the town and is downsized. SOLUTION: This compressive clamp has a metal fitting for connection to be connected to a tension-resistant insulator provided on a utility pole on one side and has a rectilinear clamp part for inserting and compressing the core of a distribution line and connecting the distribution line on the other side. As the material, the metal fitting for connection is made of steel, and the clamp part is of the same quality of material as that of the core of the distribution line.
