PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nut cleaning device which can reduce labor to transport nuts and exposure. SOLUTION: A nut 6 removed from a stud bolt is mounted on a nut pedestal 21 suspended from a pressure container head attaching/detaching apparatus by a chain block 34, and the attaching/detaching apparatus is moved to the position of the nut cleaning device 36 of a work stage 26. In the cleaning of the screw hole 6a of the nut 6, the nut 6 which is mounted on the nut pedestal 21 by the chain block 34 is brought down. When the screw hole 6a is engaged with the rotary brush 37 of the cleaning device 36, and a driving motor 38 is driven, the screw hole 6a of the nut 6 is cleaned by the rotation of the brush 37.
