PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge leakage-inspecting device for a paper cup, which can detect even small pin holes or a PE layer being too thin in the vicinity of a groove-form liquid level-indicating line engraved on the internal surface of the upper section of a paper cup of which the internal layer is made of PE. SOLUTION: A disk-form discharging plate 10 of which the peripheral edge tip end 10a is an acute angle approaches a groove-form liquid level-indicating line 28 engraved on the internal surface of the upper section of a paper cup 20 of which the internal surface is made of a polyethylene layer 22. Then, a discharge is performed from the peripheral edge tip end 10a of the disk-form discharging plate, and pin holes or the like on the polyethylene layer 22 in the vicinity of the groove-form liquid level-indicating line 28 are detected by this discharge leakage-inspecting device l for a paper cup.
