PURPOSE: A shadow mask is provided to prevent a screen failing phenomenon and increase the strength of the shadow mask, by forming a bead of the shadow mask in the same direction as rising of the shadow mask. CONSTITUTION: A shadow mask(2) includes a skirt(6) formed perpendicularly to an edge and a bead(8) formed at a circumference. A rising direction of the bead(8) is formed the same as that of the shadow mask(2). The shadow mask(2) has a plurality of apertures(4) through which electron beams outputted from an electron gun are uniformly penetrated. A punch presses the shadow mask(2) placed on a flow die, and a pressing part of the punch has the same curvature as that of the shadow mask(2). A shader is inserted in an intermediate portion of the shadow mask.
