PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a helmet designed to make an internal living material to be easily detachable so as to enable the material to be, for example, laundered. SOLUTION: This helmet has such a scheme that a recess 36 is provided on the outer rim on the external surface 3a of a liner 3 and fitted with a receptacle 29 with T-shaped head, and an internal living material 5 is mounted with a curve-shaped hemming core 27 along the gap between a shell 2 and the liner 3, the hemming core 27, in turn, being mounted with an insert 28 bearing a forked projection; the internal mount material 5 can be attached or detached by engaging/disengaging the forked projection of the insert 28 on/off the head of the receptacle 29.
