<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of unintentional recovery to a normal condition of an equipment by the movement of a mouse, that is connected to the equipment, caused by external shock while the equipment is in its power saving function operating mode. SOLUTION: A state detecting means, which discriminates the utilization situation of an electronic equipment by the utilization state of a keyboard, and a control means are arranged. When the keyboard is placed on a flat surface, the detecting means discriminates that the equipment is in its 'utilized state'. When the keyboard is leaned against something, it is discriminated that the equipment is in its 'unused state'. Thus, the control means allows a recovery from a power saving mode by the operation of an arbitray connected device, if the equipment is in its utilized state. If it is in its unused state, it is controlled so that a recovery from the power saving mode is made only by the operation of a beforehand specified connected device.</p> |
