PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely close a holder and a stopper together without respect to thickness of a rod so as to clamp the rod with a proper pressure in a clothes- drying rod catcher clamping a rod by means of the holder and the stopper. SOLUTION: In a rod catcher 3, a holder 5 is provided with an elastic member 14 installed in the part opposed to a stopper 7, and the elastic member 14 is deformed according to the thickness of a rod 6 to be clamped.
