PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of display pixels such as dots without lowering a display aperture ratio and also without thinning a width of routed wiring in the liquid crystal display panel. SOLUTION: For example, concerning dots A to J of 5 rows and 2 columns, the dot parts A, B, E, F, I, J are used as segment electrodes and the dot parts C, D, G, H are used as common electrodes on one transparent electrode substrate 10, and the dot parts A, B, E, F, I, J are used as the common electrodes and the dot parts C, D, G, H are used as the segment electrodes on the other transparent electrode substrate 20.
