PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording and/or reproducing device such as a servo track writer, a magnetic head tester and a medium certifier that can safely drive a disk 2 by fixing the disk 2 to an output shaft of a spindle motor 4. SOLUTION: The information recording and/or reproducing device provided with the spindle motor 4 that drives at least the single disk 2 to/from which information is recorded/reproduced and with a positioning controller 3 driving a head unit 5 that records/reproduces information to/from the disk 2, is provided with a disk suction mechanism that suctions and fixed the disk 2 and is placed at the output shaft of the spindle motor 4.
