PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press forming machine having no fear of bringing about a disorder in parallelism of a daylight even by using for a long period. SOLUTION: In the press molding machine, a fixed platen 1 disposed above is supported by a plurality of pots 4 stood on a base 3. A reciprocating platen 5 is provided at an intermediate between the platen 1 and the base 3. Through holes 51 are provided at a peripheral edge of the platen 5 so that the platen 5 is vertically movable between the platen 1 and the base 3 while sliding the posts 4 in the holes 51. Male screws are provided at upper ends of the posts 4, nuts are clamped at the screws to fix the platen 1 to the posts 4. In this case, two male screws are provided at a different pitches at the upper ends of the posts 4. Nuts 7, 8 are engaged with two male screws. Unloosening of its lower nut 7 is prevented by clamping the upper nut 8.
