PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed change control device for a continuously variable transmission to suppress a rapid change of a change gear ratio when an estimated car body speed is increased to an abnormal value and prevent the occurrence of a variable speed shock and re-slip. SOLUTION: During non-operation of a slip control device, a car speed sensor car speed is adjusted to a speed change control car speed. In a means to adjust an estimated car body speed to a speed change control car speed, the means comprises an estimated car body speed change amount deciding means to decide whether a change amount per unit time of an estimated car body speed exceeds a decision threshold set as a change amount not present during a normal state, and a car body speed use prohibiting means to prohibit the use of an estimated car body speed during speed change control when a condition that a change amount per unit time of an estimated car body speed exceeds a decision threshold is established.
