PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for converting input information by which a document can be generated more smoothly by outputting a conversion candidate dynamically conforming to the state at the inputting time with respect to a specific expression and improving the simplicity of the input of a sentence, etc. SOLUTION: In a method for converting input information, first code information inputted from a code information inputting means, such as the keyboard, etc., is converted into second or third code information by using a conversion dictionary storing the second code information corresponding to the first code information and a conversion processing means which converts the second code information obtained by means of the conversion dictionary into the corresponding third code information. The method includes a step of discriminating whether or not prefixed specific code information is contained in the second code information which is the converted result by means of the conversion dictionary and a step of converting the inputted first code information into the third code information by using the conversion processing means when the specific code information is contained and outputting the third code information. |
