PURPOSE: The flip switch of a cellular phone is provided to prevent the malfunction of the flip switch, by making the flip switch, installed on the key pad of a cellular phone, connected and separated to/from the contact part of a printed circuit board in response to the open of the flip. CONSTITUTION: A flip(34) is installed rotationally at the bottom part of a front cover(32) of a cellular phone(30). A projection(36) is formed in the flip(34). A flip switch(44) is formed at a key pad(40) facing the projection(36), and includes a switch part(52) formed such that a carbon layer(54) can be contacted to a contact part(82) of a printed circuit board(80). A rotation member(60) is seated on the flip switch(44) so that the member(60) can be rotated according to the open and close of the flip(34) and thereby makes a the switch part(52) contacted and separated to/from a contact part of the printed circuit board(80). A projected part(64) is formed at the lower end of the member(60), and contacted vertically to the printed circuit board(80) with passing through the flip switch(44).
