PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a towel paper holder capable of taking out a towel paper without breaking in spite of strongly pulling out it and capable of reliably taking out towel papers one by one even when few papers remain or even in a state where the lower end of the lowest paper does not hang down from a take-out port. SOLUTION: A holder consists of a paper holding body 40 for supporting a towel paper stacked body T obtained by folding towel papers P in continuous zigzag state by its lowest surface and a take-out port R disposed at a bottom to take out a lowest towel paper P1 at the lowest surface in the body T one by one from the port R. The holder consists of a case 10 incorporating the body 40 and a load reducing mechanism 30 disposed at a part upper than the port R inside the case 10 to support the upper part of the body T and reduce a load on the body 40.
