<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll for continuous hot dip metal plating excellent in corrosion resistance, heat resistance and wear resistance, light in weight, easy to rotate, capable of preventing cracking at the time of being taken up from a bath and capable of prolonging the whole of the roll by using ceramics. SOLUTION: This roll is composed in such a manner that a roll barrel part and shaft parts are formed into hollow shapes respectively by ceramics, and the shaft parts are joined to both end parts of the roll barrel part, and holes for exhausting molten metal are formed on the outer circumferences of the shaft parts.</p> |
