PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-processing device, with a simple circuit configuration for speedily displaying an image for monitoring with a desired contrast, based on digital image data having a wide dynamic range. SOLUTION: This image-processing device is provided with a highest order bit detection means 17 for detecting the highest-order bit of image data, that is generated by and interline-type CCD 6 and is at one digitized field, and a shifter 18 for generating image data for monitoring by reducing the number of bits of the image data of the other field, based on the highest-order bit of the image data of the one field being detected by the highest-order bit detection means. |
