PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently apply trimming to the edge part of paper. SOLUTION: In a printer constituted so that printing is applied to the paper fed from a paper feed port in a printing part and the printed paper is fed out by a paper discharge roller, a rotary shaft 17 and a guide lever 18 are supported on a support frame 1a in parallel to the paper discharge roller and a pair of ring-shaped cutters 19 are fitted to the rotary shaft 17 in a movable manner and the holder 20 for holding the respective cutters 19 is fitted to the guide lever 18 in a movable manner and the rotary shaft 17 and the support shaft of the paper discharge roller are connected by a gear mechanism 21a so as to cooperate with each other and, when paper is fed out by the paper discharge roller, slits are formed to the edge part of the paper by the edge parts of the cutters 19 rotated in connection with the paper discharge roller.
