<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts for a multidirectional input device provided with a volume as a signal output means. SOLUTION: Gear parts 44A, 44B are formed on respective one-end parts of rotary members 40A, 40B combined at right angles in a case and allowed to be rotated in accordance with the operation of an operation member 30. Linear sliders 80 are respectively attached to two side face parts meeting at right angles in the case 10 so as to be moved along the side faces and the fitting board of the device. Teeth parts 82 to be engaged with the gear parts 44A, 44B are formed on the upper surfaces of the sliders 80. Contacts slidably coming into contact with a resistor circuit formed on the surface of the fitting substrate are attached to the lower faces of the sliders 80. The contacts constitute the volume (signal output means) integrated in the input device together with the gear parts 44A, 44B and the sliders 80.</p> |
