PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power loss of a series regulator. SOLUTION: A power source circuit for obtaining boosted voltage for driving a CCD by boosting power source voltage 5 V from a DC power source is provided with a DC-DC converter 11 for generating first converted voltage 18 V through the use of a pulse signal from an oscillation driving circuit 12 and a series regulator 14 for generating second converted voltage -10 V based on the first voltage 18 V which is generated by the converter 11 through the use of the pulse signal from the circuit 12 used by the converter 11, and a DC voltage 3.3 V within a system obtained by superimposing to the cathode of a diode 13 constituting a charge pump circuit 13.
