PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize visibility by visual observation and rapid angle adjustment by making it possible to change a set position of a level by an angle arbitrarily, as against a region or member which requires levelness. SOLUTION: In a sensor portion 2, a sensor member 41 which measures an inclination, and a signal processing portion 42 which performs signal processing of an inclination voltage detected by the sensor member 41 and so forth are fitted onto a fitting board 9, and the sensor member 41 and the processing portion 42 are linked so as to be housed in a level case 40. A displaying portion 3 is turnably coupled to the level case 40 through a frame 49. The level case 40 is provided with a hinge fixing portion 45, and a hinge 46 fitted to the bottom part of the fixing portion 45 are coupled through a frame with a hinge 48 coupled to the rear center of the displaying case of the displaying portion 3. These hinges constitute a double hinge in the aggregate to make fitting to the level case 40 turnably by an angle, and it is possible to see the displaying portion 3 on a front surface side in a comfortable posture.
