The machine for collecting and cleaning potatoes has a chassis on wheels (1) with extractors (9,10) having conveyors belts (2-4) to feed them to a collection point at the rear of the chassis and raised above the ground. An elevator (6) feeds the collected potatoes to a collection vehicle. Sensors detect the implement speed and those of the conveyor belts to control the speed along the row of potatoes.
