The auxiliary unit drive has a crankshaft (2) with a drive belt pulley (4) in the form of a passive variator, a control roller (6) at a variable distance from the crankshaft axis, a clamp roller (10), a direction changing roller (12) and at least one auxiliary drive unit belt pulley (14,16,18). The control roller has two axially connected discs, whereby one disc is driven by the crankshaft via one belt (20) and the second disc drives the auxiliary system via a second belt (22) leading over the clamp roller and direction changing roller.
