The invention relates to a device for the disposal of wastage in a press plate exposure unit. Said exposure device for exposing thermal press plates is provided with a plate drum which is used to receive the press plates and a pressure roller which presses the press plates against the plate drum when said press plates are tightened or loosened and a receiving roller, which is in contact with the press-roller, takes up wastage adhering to the pressure-roller. Preferably, said receiving roller has an adhesive surface and pressure roller has a non-adhesive surface.
