PURPOSE: A method and a system for measuring a location and distance in an unspecified space are provided which receives and analyzes pulse signals transmitted from a plurality of base stations to measure a distance between a measurer and a target place. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring a location and distance in an unspecified space obtains a difference between a time taken from one reference point to an arbitrary measurement point and a time taken from each of at least three points to the measurement point. A distance difference between the measurement point and each point is obtained based on the time difference value. A location coordinates of the measurement point is obtained based on the distance difference value.
