<p>This application discloses a method of preparing metal phosphates comprising the step of antisolvent precipitation, wherein the antisolvent is supercritical or liquid. The metal phosphates prepared by the disclosed method are preferably amorphous and formed as uniform particles and may be used as catalysts. A preferred metalphosphate is vanadium phosphate, which may be used as catalyst in oxidation reactions. The oxidation of hydrocarbons, such as propane, butane and pentane is disclosed.</p> |
