PURPOSE: A bus driving device and method is provided to reduce a level change of a bus drive power transmitted via a data bus so that it can reduce an electric power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A bus driving device comprises a first control signal generator(10), a first & a second voltage transmitter(12,14) and a first voltage eliminator(16). The first voltage transmitter(12) transmits a supply voltage(VDD) to a bus receiver via a data bus as a first bus drive voltage in response to a first control signal(C1). Then the second voltage transmitter(14) transmits a voltage(VDD-VTN), lower than the supply voltage(VDD) by a set level(VTN), to the bus receiver via the data bus as a second bus drive voltage in response to the first control signal(C1). The bus receiver recovers the voltage(VDD-VTN) to the supply voltage(VDD) with an original signal level. The first control signal generator(10) transmits the first control signal(C1) to the first & the second voltage transmitter(12,14) and the first first voltage eliminator(16). The first voltage eliminator(16) eliminates a voltage more than the set value(VTN) from the first bus drive voltage in response to an input data(DIN) and the first control signal(C1).
