Electronic circuit (3) is connected to a button-type battery (4) in a timepiece by a tongue (5), which has elastic ends (51,52) to maintain battery and circuit contact and is attached to a baseplate (2) by oversize apertures (55,56) which fit over baseplate pins (25,26). Central section (57) of tongue is elastic and exerts either a tension or pressure on the pins to maintain a positive location.
