PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a production amount of rough particles by emulsion dispersing an organic solvent solution of a developer in a water containing a specific weight ratio of a copolymer of a specific ratio of acrylic ester or the like, a specific ratio of 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid or the like and a specific ratio of an acrylamide. SOLUTION: An organic solvent solution of a developer for a pressure- sensitive recording sheet containing a polyvalent metal salt of a nuclear substitution salicylic acid as a main component is emulsion dispersed in a water containing 0.2 to 5.0 wt.% of a water soluble or moisture dispersible acrylamide copolymer having a copolymerization ratio of 2 to 20 mol% of an acrylic ester or a methacrylic ester, 0.1 to 10 mol% of a 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid or its metal salt and 70 to 98 mol% of a water soluble or moisture dispersible acrylamide to the developer, and then the solvent is distillation removed. According to this constitution, a production amount of rough particles can be suppressed, and productivity of water dispersion liquid of the developer can be enhanced. |
