And the caller ID given from the exchange side via a telephone line 1 in the case of an incoming call is temporarily stored in the storage means 31, edited to be reusable by the editing means 32 and after that, registered in the registering means 35 as the registered telephone number. Therefore, an access number, etc., to a desired communication company is added to the caller ID given from the exchange side if necessary, unnecessary area code, etc., is simultaneously deleted if necessary and the caller ID given from the exchange side is efficiently used.
